History
Since
1955, Mr. Burns has collected old
hardwoods from the northeastern states and
presently owns an impressive inventory of
hardwood species such as:
- Cherry
- Black
Walnut
- Ash
- Maple
- Birds-eye
- Spanish
Cedar
- Florida
Cypress
- Teak
- Mahogany
- River
Bottom Long Leaf Yellow Pine
and
the list goes on...
Many
customers come to us with their own
wood from a back yard tree, which becomes
an heirloom cedar chest, an oak corner cupboard,
or a cradle, a gun case or bookcase.
Popular
today are cabinets with a combination of contrasting woods, like
a walnut cabinet
With a striking yellow birch bead board backing, or a cherry wood
frame with ash doors
and dovetails. Customer design is unique, fashionable and very
beautiful.
Many pieces Bob has built are currently in use and enjoyed in
local Florida homes and businesses.
